Many a child has been known to wait all year to come back to Gan Israel! From Mini Gan Israel to our Sports and Adventure Camp division, campers enjoy a wide range of exciting activities and field trips in a warm and vivacious atmosphere.
 
Our fast growing Mini Gan Israel offers a wonderful opportunity for youngsters 2-4 to have their first experience in a real summer camp. The children are guided in organized activity, play & social skills by loving, patient and caring staff who serve all year-round as pre- school teachers. Our kiddies are growing fast, this is the place to be!  
        
Our camp, serving the boys’ and girls’ divisions, is well suited to a full program of sports, games, crafts, dramatics and other enriching camp activities. Our experienced staffers work to develop skills, confidence and a sense of fair play within each child.

Staff

Child development is the most significant ingredient in a healthy camp experience. This is why our staff is the real secret to our success. Our experienced counselors are known for their personal warmth and ability to care for each child as an individual. Many staff members return year after year, lending experience and continuity to all programs. Each counselor is a role model for our children, promising them friendship which will last forever! Their love for the children is surpassed only by the children’s love for them.

Activities

Supervised by our staff through patience and encouragement, children develop sportsmanship, confidence, and the ability to enjoy all sports, including baseball, basketball, football, hockey, kickball, soccer and more.

Swimming

Campers enjoy swimming. All aquatic activities are under the careful supervision of experienced and certified Red Cross lifeguards. Safety is our primary concern.

Jewish Pride

Gan Israel campers are imbued with a deep sense of pride in their religious heritage and their love for the land of Israel. Weekly Judaic themes are taught through exciting hands-on activities, stories, games, and contests, which are part of the unique Gan Israel experience, in addition to art projects, dress-up days, Challah baking and Shabbat parties. These are all part of the unique Gan Israel experience. There's never a dull moment at Gan Israel. These events bring to life the beauty and values of our tradition.

Trips On The Go 

Gan Israel’s “Trip Days”, which are well known, are geared to the children’s interests and feature excursions to many local attractions as well as  children's favorites that include roller skating, museums, bowling, miniature golf, boating and much more!

Special events

Olympic games, comedy skits, talent shows, late nights, Shabbatons, and auction days are just a few of the programs which challenge the children to develop their innate talents.
